#9 Employment

“First we get the jobs, then we get the khakis, then we get the chicks.”

-I’ll buy you an horchata if you can name that film.-

I start my new day job on Wednesday. I would place my excitement level at about an 8. I’m excited to start-not so much because the job is all that great. I mean, it’s good, but not ’stop the presses’ good. But, I’m excited to return to the world of responsible adulthood. At least, semi-responsible. A steady income never hurts.

I’ll also be working with two of my roommates, Vince and Wags, so that should increase the entertainment value considerably whilst sitting in my windowless cube.

The company is called clickincome. The short version is that they teach people how to start generating an online income. Small business/Home business owners, etc. I’ll be dealing with clients over the phone and email… doing a little hand-holding. From my understanding, there will also be some writing opportunities for the magazine they put out.

I think it will be a good thing. And, I’ll still keep the 24 Hr. Fitness gig in the evenings and Saturdays.

Between my newfound employment, and school starting back up in June… my social life just ended.
