#2 Flat Tires

I love my car… but, it’s been a pretty big source of frustration for me since it first entered my life. I’ve had to replace the clutch, the engine and the radiator. The transmission has been going out for a few months now, so that should be right around the corner.

I suppose all of that is really beside the point, because in no way is a flat tire really my car’s fault. At least, not this one. (And yes, I blame all of those things on my car, it’s her fault.) This flat tire I blame on the city of Salt Lake City. (Is that redundant?) Apparently fixing all of the potholes around town is either too costly, or too time consuming. It’s probably both, because they’re just not getting fixed. 3300 South is full of them, which I conveniently have to drive on every day. The pothole in question was actually on the frontage road along I-215 N.

I haven’t taken it in yet, but I’m not holding out any hope that the tire can actually be repaired. The pothole tore it up pretty good.

In the meantime I’ll be sporting this:

Attractive, I know.
